How to start career in network administration - Requirements of network administration career


Before explaining the article in the detail we should know well about the network administration. Generally network administration is defined as the process of the management and controlling of the hardware and the software and related updates with them to run the network smoothly and free from illegal use is called as network administration. The person who does the network administration of the particular network is called as the network administrator. Basically the main function of the network administration and the administrator is to monitor all the parts or the devices connecting to the network.

 

Requirements for Network Administration Career:
The person or the students who wants to become a network administrator in the future and do the network administration for the famous companies and networks as well. Some of the important requirements that should be fulfill by the person who wants to start career in the network administration are as follows

  1. The person should be related to the field of information and technology and know the working in the field of IT at the advanced level
  2. The candidate or the student applying for the career of the network administration should know every thing about the software programming and relevant task also.
  3. Strong basics of math and other science groups really matters in the historical studies or the past studies of the candidate and also do some important certification for the professional administration.
  4. Person should also know the tactics of developing and managing the system programs.
  5. Candidate should have ability to meet the challenges in the field of network administration such as the security challenges, network failure challenges and many more.
  6. Network administrator should know every thing about the network such as the size, infrastructure, architecture and different techniques of management also.

 

Certifications of the Network Administration:
The candidate or the person who is going to start career in the field of network administration should do the different certifications and training also to do networking in a good manner. Some of the important certifications that are required for the job of the network administrator are listed below.

  1. first of all two junior or the initial certifications such as
  2. Some of the common certifications related to the Cisco are CCENT, CCNA, CCIE AND CCAr etc.
  3. Some other certifications are also introduced by the Microsoft some of the important certifications that are required to become a network administrator are the CSA, CSI and CIP etc.
  4. The person becoming a network administrator should clear two important exams of A+ and N+ related to the CompTIA. Generally they are related to the hardware, networking, Ethernet and different techniques.
  5. After clearing the above given exams or the certifications, the last and the final test of the candidate is of RHCE which stands for Red Head Certified Engineer. After clearing that certificate the person become a professional and good network administrator.

 

Scope of Network Administration:
Scope of the network administration is very vast because field of the networking become very advanced with the passage of time and networking field demands the person who administrates the network with the good hand and also with technical hand. People can also earn a good salary in the profession of network administration but before that they have to do the well education and practice. One of the important things, that is one of the requirements of the network administration is that a person going to do the administration should understand the operating system completely and should command on different aspects of OS. Networks need a strong or the competent administrator to meet the challenges of the future.
