The major disappointing feature of Host AP is that it doesn’t support the WEP and WPA. It may often support the WEP modification and configuration regarding the card, files networks. This support is also possible with the WPA but still it is not tested for the solid evidence of supportability. The Host AP does not support WEP or WPA, but it is relatively easy to support WEP by modifying the wireless card configuration file /etc/sysconfig/network/if-eth1.cfg. Supporting WPA may be similarly easy, but has not been tested on our Host AP.
