What is CDMA
CDMA stands for the Code Division Multiple Access it’s basically the telecommunication technology that is use by the various radio communicating companies for accessing the channels in the minimum time. While understanding the CDMA it should be mixed with the different mobile standard with matching names along with the figure around such as CDMA2000ADAM is typical technology that is used for transmitting the information to the transmitters plus receiving over the single channel of communication. It’s quite different from the other multiplexing techniques such as TDMA which divided time according to the access frequency. Unlike the TDMA, CDMA permits the users to share the bandwidth frequencies for sending and receiving the signals at the same time. Its forms a specific spectrum spread for the signaling. In this way all the modulated signals after coding increase the high Data Bandwidth instead of direct signal communication.
How CDMA works
Code division multiple accesses as name suggest. Start with the multiplexing of the code signal to initiate the access. CDMA at very first form a spread spectrum for the case. In this way the spectrum resulted gives uniform and constant bandwidth for all the transmitted power frequency. all the local generated code runs with mush higher rate than the external data received on the channel. CDMA transmitted the data bit wise from one destiny to the other. XOR integration sand bit circuits are formed for faster transmission. It working is similar to the multiplexing techniques but the time division slots are uniform with the same bandwidth for very power signal. This is why it is considered to an advance technology in the radio communication fields. And the modulation techniques used by the CDMA is much cheaper and easy to implement all required is to keep the power uniform through out the channel. In simpler terms a shared group of users are given a communication pace in which each can have equal level of bandwidth with same frequency and transmission speed. Although other codes can interfere in the channel but only the connected users can communicate with each other in CDMA.
Usage of CDMA
CDMA technology is most effective to be used for the military purpose and for transmitting the confidential data through communication because no external party can interfere the communication even can’t receive and see the message broadcasted. In the case of militaries specific code is assigned to each individual. First that code is matched from the both sides then message can be retrieved. The spectrum handle assigning and identification till the retrieval of message.
Advantages of CDMA
Most efficient use of available bandwidth the foremost advantage is the large band width and its equivalent effect utilization for sending and receiving the data.
No separate time Access divisions
In CDMA technology there is no time limitation slot division for using the band width and sending and receiving the data like in TDMA.
Power and bandwidth frequency
Power frequency remains constant in both sending and receiving and uniform bandwidth keeps the transmission faster and in time.
Resource allocation
Another advantage of CDMA is the flexible resource allocation which means that a certain kind of pin code is provide to the active users to communicate with each other. Fixed time and bandwidth keeps the simultaneous exchange of message at both sender and receivers end and specific number of packets with limited length keeps the extra traffic out of the channel.
