However, as we know mirror has two sides similarly nanotechnology also has some drawbacks, which cannot be ignored. it has some issues regarding health which makes its repute weak in the society.

Nanotechnology has highly facilitated medical area by introducing extra efficient and improved surgical devices and instruments, which has made healing and surgery easy and more successful. Cosmetics and plastic surgeries with the help of laser beam is one of the examples of most advanced laser beamers, which are operated at nano scale. nanotechnology has made infra red radiations more powerful these radiations are used for repairing wounds and scars , but these laser beams with extremely tiny particles in it could become the cause of skin cancer in human as it revitalize and recover the dead human skin artificially.

Another one of the greatest health implication is the contaminated air, which contains millions of nano particles, which become extremely dangerous when, reacted with human body. Manufacturing plants and factories releases poisonous gases containing nano particles in big quantity. The feature, which makes nano particles fatal for living organisms, is its small size; these particles are 100 times smaller than dust particles. When these particles travel in the air they go long way and it is very hard to prevent inhaling these particles. Nano particles can damage lungs and heart and can cause asthma, tuberculosis and frequent dry cough. Employees working in the manufacturer’s zone must wear protectors’ masks to avoid nano particles.

Water is the essence of life, no living being can survive without water, but nanotechnology has positive as well as negative influence on water simultaneously. at one side it is used for filtering dirty and contaminated water and also for adding minerals in it and on the other side chemicals and poisonous solutions flowing from manufacturing plants, makes water very dangerous for marine life and for drinking. Chemicals releasing from the factories, which produce nanotech products, is so harmful for health, because it can infect stomach and digestive systems instantly. Government and concerned authorities should properly regulate the nanotechnology and its usage to help protect surrounding form being infected by its fatal chemicals. Herbal Plants easily absorbs the contaminated solution accelerating from factories can become fully poisonous. These herbal plants when used in medicines can become reactive to human bodies. Nanoparticles can also penetrate in the clothes when get washed with infected water and can damage skin directly.
Nanotechnology and food
As we know nanotechnology has played vital role in the food industry, it is used for preserving and for increasing nutritive value of food products. Tetra packaging is now being done by nano machines, dynamic instruments are used for mixing additional fats, calcium and vitamins to milk and other products. These products are safe for the specific period, but when this product expires and someone uses it damages the liver directly. Canned food could be stored at homes and bakeries for longer period of time but at the same time nanotechnology neutralizes the original flavor of the food product .Ultraviolet rays, which are used for killing bacteria in the food items, can easily penetrate in the product and can react the human body. All of the above health implications can be prevented by properly regulating the nanotechnology and by using nanotechnology products as recommended by scientific and health experts.
