When there are positive affects of some technology at the same time, it also has some negative affects and implication. Nanotechnology also has some implications; it increasing usage rate use has facilitated the humankind but also gave birth of to some critical issues at the same time
The presence of nanomaterials or the material which contain naoparticle is not a threat to the humanity itself but its risky due to the some facts there exist some aspects which makes it harmful for the living world, their extreme reactions and incresed mobility reactions which they produce are not suitable in evry situation. Only certain properties of nanoparticles were harmful to human beings. The pollution in his situation is called nanopollution. Nanoparticles are very different in their nature as compared to counterparts, so their adverse effects cannot be extracted from the known toxicity of the macro material. This depicts the significant issues for the health and environmental impact of free moving nanoparticles.
Nano devices also have side effects specially those, which are used for repairing surgical wounds. Some nano liquids are also very harmful if they get in contact with human body. The process of manufacturing the nano devices also generate some waste, which may be dangerous because of its extremely small size. It can be released to air and can easily penetrate in plants which make them de oxygenated when gets reacted with carbon dioxide and animals. Affects of these waste material is different in different stages of manufacturing sometimes its harmful that cats and little animals die because of inhaling toxic gases and by drinking contaminated water or liquid released by the manufacturing plants. For properly evaluating the heath hazards each stage of manufacturing must be observed separately and then measures should be taken for reducing the waste
Societal implications of nanotechnology
Beside the toxic affects on human health, there exists some other implication, which is known as societal implications. scientists suggests that social issue of nanotechnology is not very simple that it can be understood by common people easily .some applications are not suitable for the world for example nanotechnology when stepped into filtration process of gold and diamond ,made both more expensive which made people feel little down as their buying power is affected badly.
Risks to developing countries
Nanotechnology provides new answers and solutions to the field of medicine, technology, and fiction sciences but at the same time, it has created risks for the developing countries such as safe and clean drinking water, reliable energy, clean air and education. Protection of environment and heath care become a challenge for the developing countries in case of extensive nanotechnology. In this scenario, proper and periodic regulation of nanotech manufacturing plants is needed. It should be kept in mind that to what extend country can afford the damage if caused. People of these third world countries should be properly aware of nanotechnology and its side effects.
