DWDM:

How DWDM Works?
The working of the dense wavelength division multiplexing is not similar to that of the technologies of data transfer but it is based on the enhancing the ability of the fiber optical cables that are used for the sake of data transmission. First of all the DWDM technology collect all the signals of the fiber optics and then trying to send them at a particular location at the frame of different wavelengths. This all working is carried out in the single thin fiber so, due to different wavelengths DWDM increase the capacity of the fiber optical cable to transmit data over them. With the help of DWDM user can increase the data transmission rate up to large extent. It is in such way if the users use the fiber optical cable for the sake of transmission having range of 1 GB per second. Then with the help of this new technology of dense wavelength they can enhance the capacity up to 8 GB per second because action of eight different wavelengths would involved with DWDM. So it helps the users to transfer data at the faster rate. Nowadays the faster rate that has been recorded by using DWDM over the fiber optics is more then 375 gigabytes per second. So it is one of the faster methods of communication.
